Shelia Jones, the principal designer, began her design career while living in Japan where she managed a non-profit gift shop. During her tenure, she began helping customers find special pieces to add to their collections and began designing custom furniture pieces when the appropriate piece could not be found. Shelia later started her own company, Finer World Collectibles, Inc.

  The store was later moved to the mid-west. As a result of Shelia’s high standards for the look of the store, customers frequently began to ask if interior design services were also offered. After several of these comments, and while continuing to run her successful fine home décor business, Shelia began design school. After graduation, Shelia added a second arm to her business—Delaney Interiors. She believes her passion for design can be summed up in one word—lifestyle. Lifestyle encompasses many things; family, friends, career, style, and home. Shelia’s desire is to help her clients enhance their lifestyle through design.

  Shelia’s life experiences and talent enable her to provide a unique design style that reflects the individuality of each client. Her only desire is to provide functional and beautiful designs that meet the lifestyle needs of the client. She believes the inspiration for good design is infinite because of the artistry and beauty that can be found everywhere. A designer’s job is to bring it all together for the client.
